The Taiwan based multinational computer and phone hardware company recently met a clash with Telecare Network India over "Zenfone Trade Mark and reportedly lost it.Now the company can't use it's "Zenfone Trade Mark" in India for launching it's upcoming smartphones.The company recently launched flasghip level phones like Zenfone 6 and Zenfone 6 Edition 30.After losing its trade mark case the company today unveiled it's Asus 6z in India.
The smartphone will be called Asus 6z in India, as its name was changed after Asus lost a trademark caseto Telecare Network India. The company is no longer permitted to use the ZenFone branding in India hence the new name.Asus 6z comes with flasghip level specifications and processor,flip cameras and notch less display will make it to compete other companies flasghip level phones like OnePlus 7 Pro and Xiaomi's upcoming flagship level phones- Redmi K20 and K20 Pro .The device has got smart dual speakers equipped with two amplifiers.The device has got Gorilla Glass 3 and Gorilla Glass 6 protection on both Rear and front sides respectively with aluminum chassis in middle region.The power button has been housed in the right edge while the Volume Rocker and all-new smart key are on the left side.The all-new smart key can be used to open up an app and Google assistant.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Asus 6z comes with 6.4-inch FHD+ LCD notchless display offering 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution with 92% screen-to-body ratio.The device runs on Andriod v9.0 Pie with Zen UI 6 on top out of the box.Futhermore the Asus company revealed that Asus 6z will give it's users a near Andriod Stock and smooth experience.Under the hood the Asus 6z is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset like other flasghip level phones paired with Adreno 640 GPU and Kryo 485 CPU.The device comes with8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 flash storage variants.In addition to this the Asus 6z has got a dedicated MicroSD card slot for futher expansion of its storage up to 2TB.
The camera department has got two rear motorised flip cameras that can be used both front facing and rear facing by flipping technology and are comprised of 48MP primary sensor with Sony IMX586 sensor and an aperture of f/1.7 and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle secondary sensor that offer 125° field-of-view.The company claimed that the Flip camera of Asus 6z is offering 4K video recording at 60fps with EIS enabled and slow-motion videos at 480 fps.
Connectivity options inculde 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 ,NFC, GPS, USB Type-C port , FM Radio, Bluetooth v5.0 and 3.5mm headphone jack and the device will offer DTS X Virtual Surround Sound 7.1 technology via headphones.The Ausus 6z is backed up by 5,000mAh battery capacity and comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging support via it's USB Type-C port.The device has got " In-display Fingerprint" scanner for security enhancement.The device in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver color variants.The company offers a basic headset within the box for Asus 6z users.
As far as price is concerned the Asus 6z with 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage variant carries a price tag if INR 31,999, a second variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage carries a price tag of INR 34,999 and the 8GB RAM + 256GB inbuilt storage variant is priced at INR 39,999.The device will be available on Flipkart exclusively from June 26th,2019.
